The Mint Barrel Barn

The Mint Barrel Barn has always held a special place in my heart, not only for its beautiful setting and unique character but for the warmth and hospitality that make it such a wonderful place to celebrate. It's a venue that makes everyone feel at home, from the families gathering to the vendors bringing everything together. It was especially meaningful to see the families come together here to celebrate Alma and Zach. Even in late October, we were gifted with clear blue skies and beautiful temperatures, making an outdoor ceremony feel like the perfect way to begin their wedding celebration.

Getting Ready

The morning was filled with laughter and anticipation as both wedding parties arrived at the venue to begin getting ready. The groom’s party enjoyed pastries and conversation, while the bridal party gathered over mimosas, hair and makeup, and a few lighthearted TikTok videos that brought plenty of laughter to the morning. Mothers, aunts, and cousins soon joined in, surrounding Alma with familiar faces and helping hands as she prepared for the day. Before the celebrations began, Alma shared two meaningful first looks, first with her father and then with Zach. Each moment carried its own emotion, filled with love, admiration, and the quiet realization that the day they had been waiting for was finally here.

Ceremony

Purple found its way into nearly every part of Alma and Zach's wedding, a fitting reflection of Alma's love for the color. From the invitations to the flower girls' dresses, it became a thread woven throughout the celebration. Surrounded by the people they love most, Alma and Zach exchanged vows, with Zach having spent countless hours perfecting his Spanish vows as a heartfelt gesture to Alma and her family. There wasn't a dry eye as he spoke, sharing not only his love for Alma but the care and connection he had built with the family standing beside them.

Reception

Once Alma and Zach were pronounced married, everyone made their way to cocktail hour to enjoy drinks, a beautiful charcuterie spread, and a little friendly competition with the outdoor games. Alma, Zach, and their wedding party made their entrance with a lively dance that set the tone for the evening ahead. Between heartfelt toasts, laughter, and a dance floor that never seemed to empty, the night flew by far too quickly. It was one of those celebrations that makes you wish you could slow down time and stay in the moment just a little longer.

Alma and Zach, thank you for not only allowing me to be your Wedding Planner, but for being my best friends! I love you two endlessly and I am so proud of the individuals you have become alongside one another. Thank you for allowing me to witness every part of your fairytale.
